It is reported that the project has been approved by relevant national ministries and commissions, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan, a planned land area of 200 acres, and includes an 8-inch CMOS+MEMS characteristic sensor chip. Production line, 8-inch MEMS specialty wafer rapid R&D line, Western Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle Intelligent Sensor Innovation R&D Center, Automotive Grade Sensor Reliability Testing Center, Industry-Academia Research Center and Osun Semiconductor R&D Office Building and other construction projects, The technical capabilities cover CMOS+MEMS characteristic processes and can realize the research and development and mass production of various MEMS sensor products.

This project can comprehensively carry out the research and development and mass production of surface silicon, bulk silicon, new processes, new devices, and new systems; it has MEMS piezoresistive, piezoelectric , silicon light, magnetic materials, MOX, microfluidics and other related processes, greatly improving the success rate of product development and achieving a seamless transition from product development to mass production.
